“The law of faith acts on your belief…and is limited to your belief. What the law does for you it must do through you. If you believe only in a little good, the law will be compelled to operate on that little good.”
This Thing Called You by Ernest Holmes
The above statement is so powerful, as it speaks of our belief about everything we say we want in our lives. It goes deeper than that though, because if we allow ourselves to think small, there is no way we will be able to create and manifest the good we are meant to experience. It’s time to step away from our outdated ways of seeing ~ time to embrace our wisdom, personal truth, and personal vision; time to allow ourselves to dream.
Suddenly it is as though we stand naked on a lotus flower, arms outstretched to the Universe in thanks and awe at the miracle of being. In this magnificence is a form of innocence not seen before. Why is that? Because of necessity, we must be born small, go through the socialization process, create and manifest a life resulting from our beliefs at the time. Then at some point, usually when we have lots of life experience, we become disillusioned over what we have created, the life we are living. As a result, that way of life begins to die off, to decay. We may hit bottom spiritually and emotionally; it is at this point many of us turn to doctors and medications as our bodies, minds and spirits go through this transition.
There is a gift here! When we hold onto our faith that there is a bigger plan for each of us, bigger than we’ve ever imagined, we can surrender into the chrysalis stage. What if our life from birth forward could be seen as a form of development and growth to the point of letting go of all we’ve ever been, surrendering to complete transformation ~ just like a caterpillar transforming into a beautiful butterfly? We can learn to work with the laws for our highest good. It is through our intimate, personal connection with all that is that we can create whatever we choose. From this vantage point we can see how the dreams we hold, the vision we have has to include the highest good of everyone on the planet…because from feeling our connection to all that is we are aware that we are one.
As we allow ourselves to enter the tunnel that promises light at the other side of darkness, we begin the healing process, emerge lighter, at peace, and moving forward with grace. What joy to feel the wind beneath our wings as we find our balance.
