My 20 year professional journey is like a beautiful web with all my gifts intertwined. I enjoy a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the holistic connection in healing and wellness. I am a passionate Reiki teacher, mentor, speaker and writer. My focus is the whole person, mind/body/spirit. I assist clients in creating personal balance through private life balance mentoring and Reiki workshops. My sharing and contribution comes from the heart, from having worked and benefited from the tools I use myself…I walk my talk. This fact offers me a unique connection with my clients, one of learning and, in many cases, on-going friendship. When I share a clients’ breakthrough or they discover their unique gifts, the satisfaction is tremendous. It’s a joy to watch my clients soar!
My holistic career began with Deepak Chopra in 1996 at the Chopra Center for Well Being in La Jolla, CA. I integrated the mind/body/spirit connection in healing and wholeness into my daily life. During my three years there I learned Reiki, discovered my gift for connecting energetically with clients and staff in a healing way, and as a member of the center’s Ayurvedic bodywork/massage team, I mastered massage and bodywork therapy sessions tailored to a client’s unique needs.
My professional presence has grown through offering Reiki instruction, life balance mentoring, and therapeutic massage. My journey with Reiki began in 1997 and my passion for its benefits birthed the teacher in me in 2000, when I committed to becoming a Reiki Master Teacher. I’ve enjoyed teaching many one-on-one and group Reiki workshops of all levels through the years.
My life is rich and I’m blessed with a wonderful husband and blended family: my two adult sons and their wives, and my husband’s daughter and son and their children. I treasure the time I volunteer with hospice each week. I volunteer caregiver relief, patient companionship, serve as a lay chaplain and reach out through the media when invited, to encourage people to give of their time. Life is a gift and sharing it enriches me beyond words.
